One of the main missions of the Pere Tarrés Foundation is the protection and defense of the social rights and well-being of children. We started a line of studies on the social promotion of childhood in the areas of health, education, participation, free time and culture.

With a documentary collection of more than 38,000 books and 500 collections of magazines, the Pere Tarrés Foundation Library is a reference documentary center in Catalonia specializing in social sciences and, specifically, in topics related to social work, social education, environmental education and education in free time.
