The Pere Tarrés Foundation has an Equality and Work-Life Balance Plan that seeks to reconcile work and family life, avoid any type of sexist attitudes, spread the gender perspective, reduce work absenteeism, normalize the use of non-sexist language and promote diversity. All this, to achieve a coherent professional project that respects the rights of workers.
In addition, it aims to influence a way of working that allows strategies to increase the active participation of women and other groups such as people with functional diversity or at risk of social exclusion, in all areas of the Foundation.
It has also established different protocols and measures to prevent and detect harassment based on sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, as well as to guarantee the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people, and to eradicate homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.
On the other hand, from different areas of the Foundation, educational and training programs and activities are carried out mainly aimed at adolescents and young people to promote equality and prevent discriminatory or violent attitudes towards difference.
