Volunteers

Sometimes, children and young people who live in family surroundings with socioeconomic difficulties have difficulties in properly following the pace of learning set by the school.

School success depends not only on the pupil’s capabilities, but also on the SUPPORT AND BACKING they receive from their surroundings.

WHAT KIND OF VOLUNTEERS DO WE NEED?

At the Pere Tarrés Foundation’s socioeducational centres we need volunteers of legal age to help children and young people in primary and secondary school to do their homework and school projects.

TIMES

From 5.30pm to 7pm.

DAYS

Volunteers can do one afternoon a week, from Monday to Friday, or one afternoon a fortnight.

LOCATION

It can be done at one of the 35 socioeducational centres affiliated to the Pere Tarrés Foundation in different parts of Catalonia.

REQUIREMENTS

Commitment and regularity.

Considering the above information, we will look for a centre that needs volunteers.

You’ll have an interview with the centre manager.

If the centre manager thinks you would fit in and you are interested, you’ll begin volunteering.
